We both, my wife and I, were pleasantly, surprised at the level of quality, and service, at your hotel,the Dalton is without a doubt, a "hidden treasure" amongst the lodgings in Victoria.

A higher price, does not always translate into better rooms, and or service! with dollars dwindling, we now have to look for better deals for our travel dollars, while surfing the Internet, for one of those good deals, we happened upon the Dalton, the age of your property gave us a little trepidation, thinking "old, not well maintained, just surviving? those sort of thoughts, but we decided to take a chance.

Thankfully we did, because the hotel, the staff, and everything about your property, was 180% out from my expectations!!, an additional plus, was the location,central to everything!! we found no reason to tramp around town looking for a fine restaurant, with the "office" in the hotel, we ate there, for our lunches, and dinners,and enjoyed you continental breakfast in the mornings.

This is a little long, but, it so nice, in this financial climate, to find a", good deal" and your hotel, is a "good deal" thank you for a pleasant stay, we will be a continuing customer, now we have found this treasure!

It was our first trip to Victoria and we were looking for a place to stay that was affordable but also centrally located so we could maximize our downtown exposure. The Dalton was everything we wanted and more. It was a little older and the rooms a little smaller than what we expected, but perfect for what we were needing. What makes your hotel amazing is the staff. The young man that checked us in, the yonge woman that checked us out and the lady that does an excellent job at breakfast went above and beyond and were more than willing to answer any questerion and make suggestions. Great job guys! We hope to make another trip to Victoria and we will definitely stay at the Dalton again.
